Another Earthquake

 Yesterday we had an earthquake, 7.7 about 100 miles southwest of us was the epicenter, It lasted about 1 minute. They are saying there was many smaller quakes on the same fault and we have had hundreds of tremors, still into today. Vases, teacups and pictures fell in the kitchen and living room and broke, it broke the counter top in two places and several chips in the floor tile. Things fell in the bedrooma and bathrooms but nothing broke. There was at least one large after quake around 6.0 last night that knocked my computer monitor off the desk. Everytime there is a tremor i wonder if it will be a big one but luckily they are getting less severe and shorter.

Earthquake

 This morning at 7:34 AM we felt an earthquake here in Los Llanitos Panama. It was the srongest one I have ever felt, it had the TV shaking and a photo frame tipped over and a bicycle model fell to the floor. USGS shows it was 7.4 Magnitude near Bogata Columbia.

Sunrise and Full Moon

 We have had some really nice sunrises and a full moon the last few days.

New House

We are pretty much moved into our new rental house in El Valle, we have maybe one more load to get from San Marino but we are completley moved out of Soul House.

The house is new, never lived in, which is nice as everything is clean and in good working order. It's a two bedroom, two bath and laundry. It sits on top of a ridge outside the town of El Valle which gives us amazing views.

Butterfly Haven, El Valle Panama

 Saturday, May 16 Donna and I went with one of the guests here at Soul House, Corey, to the Butterfly Haven here in town.

Lourdes Restaurant

 Last night I went with randy and Sunne to Lourdes Restaurant. It's also a small hotel and wedding venue. We had drinks with the owner, Seniorita Lourde, and then had dinner with her. The place is off the main road just outside of El Valle on the road to Anton, It has a great pond that she had made and she just recently built a library with a deck and bar.

This is a man sculpture made of wood, it has great detail and I was told it's a replica of Senoirita Lourde's late husband.

Hotel La Compania

 Last night we went to Hotel a Compania with Randy. It's a really nice hotel not far from here with three restaurants. Rooms are pretty expensive, $350.0, they also have a large spa or wellness center.
