Trip to David

 

We decided to drive to David to get things we need that aren't available in Bocas or are too expensive.

David is 178 Km (110 Miles) from Almirante, where the Ferry from Bocas takes us.

Because of the slow ferry ride, bad roads and winding mountain roads, the trip takes almost 6 hours.

It's also difficult to time the ferry loading because people get in line early, sometimes the night before, so there is no guarantee you will get on.

Made it to David, bought a recliner for Donna and a small clothes washing machine as well as an ice maker, coffee maker, pots and pans, bowls, an instapot and blender.

We didn't get the groceries we wanted because the car was full.
